Melissa Salvatierra is a licensed hair stylist trained at Total Image Beauty Academy. She entered the industry in 2024 and quickly discovered a passion not just for hair, but for building genuine connections with her clients.
Melissa’s favorite service is a luxury blowout combining relaxation, hair health, and styling into an experience that leaves clients feeling renewed. Her philosophy centers on personalization and confidence; if a client leaves the salon feeling better than when they arrived, she’s done her job right.
Trust is a huge motivator for Melissa. When clients give her creative freedom, it inspires her to push herself and explore new techniques. She approaches every appointment with warmth and familiarity, creating an environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves.
Outside of work, Melissa loves live music, festivals, DJ sets, and traveling whenever she can. A fun fact: she’s an excellent cook she just doesn’t love doing it. Growing up around salons and experimenting with hair from a young age made pursuing cosmetology feel like a natural path. One of her proudest moments was working backstage at New York Fashion Week in February 2025, and she’s excited to continue growing her career at BOND.
